Been on Cambie St recently? No doubt if you live here you have heard about the problem retailers are having on cambie st, as the city works on the canada line monorail extension to the airport. basically, hundreds of businesses are going broke, because pedestrians cant get to their stores...well forget pedestrians, driving this gauntlet is bad enough, and the worksite is nothing short of a FCKING DEBACLE. You really have to drive over there to get an idea of how disorganized and screwed up the lane redirections and temporary traffic guides are. There is ZERO organization, everyday you drive it, there are different roads closed and different one way sections, no left turns. The funniest thing is I am sure if you went out there at 2am and changed the locations of the markers, orange hats and signs, no one would notice and you could pretty much redirect traffic where ever you want.
